‘Eclipse’ Asparagus
$3.00 – $25.00Eclipse is a green asparagus hybrid, released from the world-leading asparagus breeding program at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. This male dominant cultivar is an improvement on Millennium with increased spear diameter and improved precocity (reaching maturity earlier) means better yields and faster returns. While it was developed for the commercial industry, the improvements in yield and foliar disease tolerance makes it a great choice for small scale and home producers.

‘Kalle’ Pear (OHxF87 Semi-dwarf)
A medium to large fruit that is round in shape with a slender neck. It ripens 10 days ahead of Bartlett. The fruit is flavorful and has a bright red skin. Also known as ‘Red Clapp’s’ as it is a mutation from ‘Clapp’s Favorite’.

‘MacDonald’ Hazelnut
High levels of resistance to eastern filbert bright (EFB) and bud mites and very few moldy kernels. Nuts are about 52% kernel by weight, higher than most other hazelnut cultivars. Overall, an early harvest variety with a high kernel yield of excellent eating quality nuts. The kernels blanch easily and have excellent flavour and texture.

‘Red Spy’ Apple
$75.00The Red Spy Apple Tree is an old variety, originating in NY in the 1800’s. It is similar to Northern Spy but with a much redder skin and bright stripes. Shinseiki is an early ripening fruit with bright yellow skin. Its delicate white flesh is sweet, flavourful and extremely juicy.
