‘Diamond Harrow’ Peach

Fruit has an attractive, 70% scarlet skin over a yellow background with a firm, deep yellow flesh and excellent flavor. High resistance to bacterial spot and brown rot, and has few split pits. A very nice fresh-eating freestone variety that is also good for canning and preserves. Developed in Ontario, Canada and is quite hardy, which means heavy bud-set — subsequent thinning is required for best results. Ripens in July.

‘Hall’s Hardy’ Almond
Grows anywhere peaches thrive! Pretty and productive. Large, hard-shell nuts give way to smaller bittersweet kernels. This attractive tree yields large crops of crunchy almonds in fall, and its lovely pink flowers make it a landscape standout in spring. Grows wherever peaches thrive. Matures to be 15–20′ tall, 10–15′ wide. Ripens in late September. Self-pollinating but should be crossed with a peach or nectarine.
CAUTION! The seed is classified as a bitter almond. The bitter taste comes from glycoside amygdalin, which is the precursor to hydrogen cyanide (prussic acid). ‘Lapins’ Cherry

It produces some of the largest and juiciest of the sweet cherries and provides multi-seasonal interest. In early in the season, your Lapins Cherry will be smothered in brilliant white blossoms. Then, midseason, you’ll be delighted by an abundance of sweet, large, dark red to purple fruit with light red flesh. Self-fertile, and does not require a pollinator, however, cross-pollination never hurts. They are considered the number one pollinator for Bing in most areas and is a great universal pollinator for other cherry trees. The fruit is firm and so big that one cherry is a mouthful. The flavor is divine, incredibly juicy, and sweet. They are delicious right off the tree and wonderful for baking. You’ll be pleased to learn that these have been bred to resist splitting. ‘Redgold’ Nectarine
Redgold is the most planted and has proven to be the most suitable nectarine variety for the Okanagan, but matures too late for some locations.
