Large oval purple fruit with greenish-yellow flesh that turns red when cooked. Good for canning and drying. Good commercial prune-plum. Ripens in 14 days earlier than Italian Plum. Partly self-fertile but better with pollination from other European Plums (Prunus domestica).
Crossing of cherry and plum (chum). Produces purple/black skinned fruit that are juicy and sweet with a red flesh! Grows as a bush of 6ft high by 4ft wide when mature. Fragrant flowers fill the plant in spring!

Beautiful, large, red fruits with gold flesh. This big producer developed by Luther Burbank bears sweet plums that are delicious when eaten fresh, cooked or canned. The tree is vigorous and easy-to-grow. Originates from Santa Rosa, California in 1906. Heat-tolerant. Clingstone. Ripens in July. Self-pollinating, but may benefit from pollination from another Japanese plum (Prunus salicina).
