‘Anjou’ Pear (OHxF87 Semi-dwarf)
$75.00Large conical short-necked light yellow and green fruit, some russeting. Flesh is light yellow, fine-textured, sweet, aromatic and juicy. Fruit can be stored well into winter! Leading fresh commercial variety. Ripens in mid-September. A true heritage tree. Introduced in France prior to 1800.

$75.00The #1 pear worldwide! First introduced in 1797, this multi-purpose pear is a long-standing favourite of orchard growers and fruit gardeners alike. Starts bearing at a young age and is very productive. Fruit features a smooth, firm texture and a juicy, spicy taste. Harvest in late August. Susceptible to fire blight.

‘Bosc’ Pear (OHxF87 Semi-dwarf)
$75.00This pear both looks and tastes beautiful. It has a naturally occurring russet, giving it a gorgeous golden appearance. Its juicy flesh is nothing short of heavenly. Bosc pears remain firm and keep their classic shape during cooking. Bosc is a high-quality pear and interest is increasing. Bosc matures about 20 days after Bartlett. The tree is vigorous and productive. Stony pit virus is common in Bosc and disease-free propagating wood is important. Susceptible to fire blight.

‘Kalle’ Pear (OHxF87 Semi-dwarf)
A medium to large fruit that is round in shape with a slender neck. It ripens 10 days ahead of Bartlett. The fruit is flavorful and has a bright red skin. Also known as ‘Red Clapp’s’ as it is a mutation from ‘Clapp’s Favorite’.

‘Nijisseiki’ Asian Pear
Also know as “20th Century”. Tree has outstanding ornamental value itself aside from its fruit. Pure white flesh is crisp for snacking. Ripens late August into September. Fruit has long storage life. Discovered in 1888 in Japan.

‘Shineiki’ Asian Pear
Shinseiki is an early ripening fruit with bright yellow skin. Its delicate white flesh is sweet, flavourful and extremely juicy. Shinseiki trees are very precocious, sometimes bearing fruit on our one-year-old grafted trees. Customers in a hurry to taste Asian pears should plant this variety! The pears store very well for such an early season fruit……usually 4-5 months.
