‘Early Redhaven’ Peach

Early Redhaven is a mutation of Redhaven that ripens about two weeks earlier. This early, very attractive peach is cold hardy with medium to large, brilliant red, semi-clingstone fruit that is firm and yellow-fleshed. It is a good choice for an early peach for the backyard gardener. Ripens in early August. Very attractive pink flowers in spring too! Not recommended for canning, but for fresh eating, pies, and similar uses.

Self-fertile. Does not require cross pollination.

‘Einset’ Seedless Grape

Einset Seedless grape has oval, bright red berries with a light waxy bloom. Berries are medium-sized and crack resistant, which gives them good keeping quality. The flesh is tender to firm with a fruity strawberry-like flavour. The grapes are pleasantly sweet with a high brix/acid ratio. An excellent introduction from the Cornell University breeding program. Seed remnants are occasionally noticeable.

‘Erntekrone’ Lingonberry

Erntekrone is a high yielding lingonberry with good summer and fall yields. Growth is vigorous and upright reaching 8-12″. Leaves are dark green and more rounded than other cultivars. Berries are medium to large and bright red. Produces 2 crops per year (August and October). Developed in 1981 in Germany. Known by several other common names including partridgeberry, foxberry, northern mountain cranberry, cowberry, wolf-berry, dry ground cranberry, rock cranberry, and lingberry among others.

‘Escamillo’ Pepper Transplant

Delicious yellow Italian frying pepper. The golden-yellow counterpart to lovely ‘Carmen’ and a refined take on the popular Corno di Toro (or “Bull’s Horn”) pepper class. Bred by Johnny’s and named for Carmen’s love interest in the French opera: the bullfighter Escamillo. Intoxicating sweetness any way it is prepared, but traditionally used for frying. Broad-shouldered with an attractive taper. Excellent roasted, grilled, and in salads.

‘Fantasia’ Nectarine

‘Firebrite’ Nectarine

A medium to large sized smooth heavily red blushed semi-freestone fruit with sweet juicy yellow flesh. Excellent for eating fresh or preserving. Showy pink flowers in early spring. Self-pollinating. Ripens early in the season. Trees are vigorous and highly productive. Winter hardy in zone 5.

‘Firecracker’ Goji Berry

Firecracker is a dwarf and self-fertile variety. Goji Berries are an abundant and early fruiting shrub Native to China. Mauve flowers blossom from June to September and an abundance of red-orange fruits ripen from July to September. These berries are delicious, nutrient-rich, high in antioxidants, and are often called a super fruit. Many describe their flavour as being like a tart cherry tomato. Goji berries have a very unusual growth habit where it is somewhat like a vine, but also very much a tree.
