A mutation of German Red (Rocambole) in Rasa Creek Farm (Lumby, BC). Classified as a marbled purple stripe, it produces large bulbs with cloves of rocambole flavour. A stable cultivar with impressive yields.

Well shaped, medium to large bulbs has performed well over the last few years with us. Very traditional Russian flavour. More red on wrappers than our Krestova Red Russian. Originated from Vancouver Island from “Uncle Kostyn”.
