Its fruit has a softer, more delicate fruit than Tundra. Borealis is an ideal option for U-Pick operations or for the home gardener. Requires cross pollination. Compatible with Aurora, Berry Blue, Boreal Blizzard and Honeybee. This University of Saskatchewan introduction produces blueberry-like fruit that ripens as early as Strawberries. Also known as Honeyberries or Blue Honeysuckle, Canadian Haskap are superior to any other Honeyberries with sweeter, wild Blueberry flavour and larger, fleshier fruit not unlike oversize Blueberries. The plant themselves are extremely cold tolerant and these are a great fruit alternative for cold climates.   Available as; 2" Potted and #01 Potted   STARTER TRIO: SAVE 10% when you purchase one of each of the 2" Potted Borealis, Honey Bee & Tundra haskaps! An interesting heirloom for the home gardener! Reserve yours now with a 50% deposit or purchase in FULL for pickup this spring!Enjoy bountiful harvests of delicious fruits from an easy to reach, compact plant. White spring blossoms provide an attractive display, followed by clusters of dark red, sour-sweet fruit which ripen in late summer. During trials, Juliet was always first or close second in sweetness and ranked the best flavour for fresh eating directly from the tree when allowed to ripen. Great for processing and fresh eating. Part of the University of Saskatchewan Romance Series (2004). Although sour is in their name, they can be surprisingly sweet when harvested at the right stage of ripeness. Grows well as a bushy hedge instead of pruning into a single-trunked tree.   Available as: 2" Potted (1 year), #01 Potted (2 year) or #02 Potted (3 year)   ONLY 2" Potted plants qualify for Mail Order Shipping   Reserve yours now with a 50% deposit or purchase in full for pick up or shipment this spring!

Big yellow-white fruits with a mild flavour.

There are a number of heirloom "white" tomatoes, and Great White is the best we have seen. The 12+ oz. fruit is meaty with few seeds, a mild non-acid flavour, and creamy texture. The medium-tall plants are less viny and mature earlier than other "whites." Soft skins may crack; harvest before fully ripe to avoid splitting.

Indeterminate. Beefsteak. Heirloom.
