‘Bouquet’ Dill Transplants

$4.50

Most widely grown. Good seed and leaf yields. Early-flowering plants produce large blooms, seed umbels, and foliage on long stems, making Bouquet the preferred dill for cut flower use and pickling. Also an economical, fast-growing choice for baby leaf production. Edible seeds, flowers, and greens flavour many foods. A popular addition to sauces, salads, and soup. Foliage is known as dill weed. The flowers are used to garnish potato salad, green salads, and pickles. When broken into florets, they can be mixed into a cheese spread or omelet. Annual.

‘Navaho’ is the world’s first erect-growing thornless blackberry. Trellising is still recommended in our Kootenay climate due to our snow loads. Sweet fruit grows up to an inch long, and yields 12 to 15 pounds of fruit per plant. Will begin producing heavy crops in mid to late summer. Thornless!   Available as: #01 Potted Individual Plants   Reserve yours now with a 50% deposit or purchase in full for pick up this spring!Romeo is a hardy deciduous hybrid shrub variety of Sour Cherry released in the Romance Series of Dwarf Sour Cherries from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004. It features dark red/black, flavourful fruit most suitable for fresh eating, processing, and juice production. Although sour is in their name, they can be surprisingly sweet when harvested at the right stage of ripeness. Romeo is also suitable as an accent or landscape shrub. Grows well as a bushy shrub instead of pruning into a single-trunked tree.   Available as: 2" Potted (1 year), #01 Potted (2 year) or #02 Potted (3 year)   ONLY 2" Potted plants qualify for Mail Order Shipping   Reserve yours now with a 50% deposit or purchase in full for pick up or shipment this spring!

One of the best-tasting tomatoes. We describe Brandywine's luscious, heirloom flavour as "very rich, loud, and distinctively spicy." The large fruits, often over 1 lb., have a deep pink skin and smooth red flesh. The medium-tall, potato-leaf plant is best staked or caged. Soft skins may crack. Shoulders may remain green when ripe.

Indeterminate. Beefsteak. Heirloom.

An orange old-timer with rich flavour. This rich-flavoured old timer is an orange version of Brandywine. This potato-leaved variety can be finicky to grow, with roughly shaped fruit one year and smooth the next. Soft skins may crack/scar; pick just before ripe to avoid excessive splitting.
