‘Georgian Fire’ Porcelain Seed Garlic

‘Inchelium Red’ Softneck Seed Garlic

Irregular bulb shape tends to be move oval then round. Outer cloves tend to be much larger than inner cloves. Have had good luck with long-term storage. Most colour among our softneck cultivars. Originates from Inchelium, Washington. Does not produce a flowering stalk (scape) allowing it to be braided.

‘Krestova Red Russian’ Seed Garlic

A heritage strain, grown locally in Krestova. Was purchased from our surrounding Doukhobor community and has been thought to have been grown since settlement. Consistently large heads with beautiful marbled purple strip wrappers. Definitely our favourite!

‘Russian Softneck’ Seed Garlic

Russian Softneck has been a consistent trial for us. Has the potential to be a very long storer (close to nine months) when cured and stored well. Cloves are large and spread out allowing for better drying. Does not produce a flowering stalk (scape) allowing it to be braided.

‘Tibetan’ Seed Garlic

Unclassified however resembles more characteristics to a standard purple stripe. Very late to emerge and later to mature. White shiny wrappers with a unique 1-3 red striped pattern makes it a visual anomaly within the garlic world. Cloves are medium with lots of heat. Even the scapes are shockingly spicy. 6-8 cloves and a decent keeper.
