‘Martin’ Saskatoon
$16.00This variety was selected by Dieter Martin in Saskatchewan for exceptionally large and tasty fruit with improved ripening uniformity compared to its “Thiessen” parentage. The plant is vigorous but maintains a good upright form. One of the more compact saskatoons, Martin grows to be around 10ft tall and can spread out 13ft if not maintained. Fruit is suited for fresh eating and processing.
Average fruit size 15mm (0.6″). Average yields. Moderate suckering.

‘Smoky’ Saskatoon
$16.00One of the oldest and first good yielding cultivars, a majority of the commercial saskatoon orchards were based on this cultivar until Northline and other cultivars were introduced. Slightly smaller fruit size with a milder taste with lower acidity. Blooms later than other cultivars thereby potentially avoid spring frost damage.
