Linden Lane Farms’ ‘Hope in the Field’ cancer fundraiser! This October, proceeds from every Pink and Blue Pumpkin we grew and sell will be donated to the BC Children’s Hospital’s Oncology department and other charities that help families do family events away from treatments in honour of our dear friend Brooke Malakoff. Brooke battled a rare childhood cancer since our graduation year of high school until her passing during our first cancer fundraiser in 2015. Together, Brooke and I decided on donating the proceeds for the other children that depend on the oncology department. Pink and Blue Pumpkins can be purchased at our Pumpkin and Fall Vegetable Sale at the farm October 10th and 20th as well as Cottonwood market on October 14th. Additional donations will be accepted for the cause.
Previously our fundraiser was known as ‘Pink in the Field’. With your support, we have raised over $5,000 since 2015.
